^{What is a bundle doing in the middle of traffic, or arriving from the sea? What is a bundle doing at Juanito in Barranco, or in Pachacamac? Bulto is a project by the renowned British-Mexican artist Melanie Smith in collaboration with Mexican filmmaker Rafael Ortega, filmed in September 2010 in various locations across Lima. This medium-length film—with the participation of volunteers recruited by MALI, who appeared in co-starring, supporting, and extra roles—seeks to reveal different aspects of Lima’s urban dynamics through sequences that combine documentary and fiction.}
